How To Manifest Better: 4 Mistakes You Are Making

Manifesting, in my opinion, is one of the most important skills to master. It's something that everyone should be able to do. However, many people struggle with manifesting what they want in life because they don't know how it works or how to do it effectively. Today, I'm going to walk you through four mistakes that you could be making when trying to manifest better:

Treating manifestation like a chore

It is not uncommon to feel like manifesting requires too much work, or that it’s just not worth the hassle. You may have even heard from others that it’s all about “woo woo” and that there is no science behind it.

The truth is that there is plenty of scientific evidence for the power of your thoughts and emotions on your life, which manifests as your reality (both good or bad). But don’t let this scare you off! Manifestation can be fun, exciting and rewarding if done right – so how do we get started?

Doubting your ability to manifest what you desire

The second mistake you can make is doubting your ability to manifest what you desire.

Doubt is the enemy of manifestation. If you doubt your ability to make something happen, then it's going to be very difficult for the Universe to send it your way. You have to believe in yourself and the law of attraction, otherwise how else are they going to get those thoughts out there?

Well here's a little secret: The Universe is waiting for you! It wants nothing more than for you to have what you want! But if you don't believe that this is possible ... it won't manifest because you don't believe in the law of attraction and your ability to manifest and attract things!

Not being specific enough

You've probably heard the saying, "Be specific in what you want." But if you don't know how to do this, it can be difficult to figure out how to do this well.

Here's the thing: while it's great to be clear about what you want, make sure that your desire is also actionable and achievable. It's easy for things like “I want a new job” or "I want more money" to sound good on paper but not actually help us get closer to any real result we are looking for.

So instead of saying those types of things aloud (or even thinking about them), try asking yourself some questions first: What kind of work would I like? Where would I like it? How much money would it pay me? What skills will I need? Once we've answered those questions with specifics in mind, then we can start thinking about what we're going after.

For example: “I'd love a job as an editor at HarperCollins Publishers! The salary should be $50K-$60K and they'll give me full benefits after my first year with them."

Blaming others and complaining about your life

Mistake number four: Blaming others for your life and complaining about how things are.

The truth is that you are responsible for your thoughts, feelings, and actions. You can't change other people's behavior or the past, but you can change the future by changing your thoughts today. If you want to create a better life experience, then it's up to you to make changes within yourself—not others around you.

Manifestation doesn't have to be hard, but you have to do it right!

There are a lot of misconceptions about manifestation. Some people think that if they get their hands on the right book or seminar, they can just sit down and manifest whatever they want in an instant. This is not true. Manifestation takes practice—it's a skill that can be learned over time with consistent daily action. If you want to manifest something, then you will need to take action and make changes in your life that support your desired outcome.

I've created some examples below to help clarify how one might go about manifesting something specific:

If you want to manifest a new job, then you can create a vision board with images of what your ideal work-life looks like. Then take action by researching companies in that field and sending out applications.

If you want more money in your bank account, then start tracking how much money comes into (and goes out of) your checking account every month.

Manifesting can be much more enjoyable than you might have previously thought. The key is to be clear about what it is that you want, focus on the positive outcome, and don't worry if things don't go exactly as planned. Also, remember that your attitude towards life will have an impact on how successful your manifestation attempts are!
